Punch Bowl Cake

1 Box Yellow Cake Mix
1 can Crushed pineapple - do not drain
3 or 4 bananas
2 large boxes vanilla pudding - cooled
1 lb package frozen strawberries in syrup (thawed)
1 or 2 tubs cool whip
Maraschino cherries (optional)
Nuts (Optional)

Bake yellow cake mix in 2 round layers-cool. Place 1 layer in the bottom of punch bowl (or similar bowl). Add crushed pineapple with juice. layer with bananas, 1/2 vanilla pudding and 1/2 cool whip. Add the other cake layer, strawberries, rest of pudding and cool whip. Top with cherries and nuts if desired.
