I have tried making bread crumbs in my microwave..
First I make croutons by cutting the bread in 1 in. squares. Then I put as many as i can fit in a glass baking dish for 5 mins. on high. I scrape them out w. a spatula.(make sure glass bakeware is dry or bread will burn) Then I put croutons in plastic bag and roll a rolling pin over them.
