The basis of this punch is a strong brew of tea. This has a lovely apricot/ pineapple fruity flavour with the subtle tea flavour.

Dissolve 1 cup of sugar in 2 cups boiling water and add 6 to 8 tea bags to make a strong brew of tea. Also add 10 whole cloves, a stick of cinnamon and a teaspoon of mixed spice (or alspice)
Let this cool. Strain.

When ready to make the punch in a larg bowl, add half the strained tea mixture, apricot nectar fro a can, pineapple juice from a can and lemonade and or ginger ale (carbonated type). To make this alcoholic also add some cointreau liquor.
Add some chopped fruit eg strawberries or sliced orange.
