Hershey Bar Cake

8 small hershey bars
2 sticks margarine
2 Cups Sugar
4 Eggs beaten
1 Cup buttermilk
1/4 tsp. Soda
5.5 oz can Hersheys syrup
2 1/2 cups flour
pinch of salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 Cup pecans (opt.)

Melt bars in double broiler. Cream margarine and sugar, add eggs.
Add buttermilk and soda, then add syrup. Add flour,salt,vanilla, and
pecans. Beat together until well mixed. Pour into greased and floured
tube pan. Bake at 350 deg. for 1 hour. *note: keep an eye on this after
45 minutes.
