These are two of my families favorites and they are really easy!! Turkey Pot Pie - Need 1 lb. cooked turkey breast - cut in 1 inch cubes, 3c.-1 bag cut frozen mixed vegies(corn green beans, carrots) or whatever you like, 1-8oz can tomatoes packed in puree drained and diced - save puree, 1/4 c. chopped onion, 1-10.5 oz can chicken gravy, 1/4 c puree reserved from tomatoes, 1/4 tsp cinnamon, 1/4 tsp nutmeg, pinch cayenne pepper, 1 ready made pie crust. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In large bowl combine turkey vegies tomatoes and onions. stir in gravy, tomato puree, cinnamon, nut meg, and pepper. Place in casserole. Unfold pie crust and cut in 1/2 inch strips. Trim to fit casserole and place in tic tac toe fasion over filling. Place on baking sheet and bake 45-55 minutes . Done when filling is bubbly and crust is golden brown. Serves approx. 4
Easy Crock Pot Beef Stew - Need 1 lb. stew meat cubed, 4-5 good sized carrots sliced in 1/4 inch slices, 4-5 potatoes peeled and cubed, 1 small onion diced in good size pieces 1 can Golden Mushroom soup and one can water. Brown meat and onions in a little oil or butter. Combine all ingredients in a crock pot, stir slightly. Let cook on low 6-10 hrs. I make it in the morning and Dinner time it is ready. All of the ingredients can be adjusted for how much you like - season as you like.It can also be cooked on high for less time.It's very easy!!
