Now since I've never tried them (yet!), I will leave it up to you as to which one seems most accurate.
Heat oven to 450
2 cups Bisquick(r) Baking Mix 2/3 cup Milk 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese (2 ounces) 1/4 cup margarine or butter, melted 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
Mix baking mix, milk and cheese until soft dough forms; beat vigorously 30 seconds. Drop dough by spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until golden brown. Mix margarine and garlic powder; brush over warm biscuits before removing from cookie sheet. Serve warm.
(10 to 12 biscuits)Red Lobster Biscuits
Ingredients
2 Cups Bisquick 1/2 Cup Cold water 3/4 Cup Sharp cheddar cheese -- grated 1 Teaspoon Butter flavoring -- optional
Directions
Mix all together and spoon onto or roll and cut onto a baking sheet. Bake at 450 degrees for 8-10 minutes. While biscuits are baking, make seasoned butter. Ingredients: 6 tablespoons melted butter, 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning, 1 teaspoon dried parsley, 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder.Mix and brush on biscuits immediately after taking out of oven. Can also brush some on a couple of minutes prior to removing the biscuits from the oven.
This one is porportioned into weight and I don't know how to convert it but perhaps you can. Dough: 1 1/4 lbs. Bisquik 3 Oz. freshly shredded cheddar cheese 11 Oz. cold water Garlic Spread: 1/2 cup melted butter 1 teas. garlic powder 1/4 teas. salt 1/8 teas. onion powder 1/8 teas. dried parsley To cold water, add Bisquik and cheese, blending in a mixing bowl. Mix until dough is firm. Using a small scoop, place the dough on a baking pan lined with baking paper. Bake in 375 degree oven for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown. While biscuits bake, combine spread ingredients.
Brush baked biscuits with the garlic topping.
