This is my favorite fruit salad recipe. Everyone asks for the recipe when I take it to dinners. 1 #2 can crushed pineapple - drain reserve juice 1 #2 can pineapple chunks - drain reserve juice 1 #2 can chunky salad or fruit cocktail - drained 2 small cans mandarin oranges 1 pkg vanilla pudding(not instant) 1 pkg tapioca pudding (not instant)
Cook the pudding with 2 l/4 Cups reserved fruit juice. When cool mix in fruit and chill.
There are several variations of this--some people put maraschino cherries, bananas, marshmallows or coconut in it also.
