Carolyn, my girlfriend finally gave me the recipe!! It is identical to the second one that you posted. We tried yours yesterday, and it is much better than the first one.....my only complaint: some how, I don't know how, but my pan/oven rack/something, shifted and my cake is lop-sided!! LOL It ran over the 10 x 15 pan on one side, but is ''real crunchy'' on the other side! In our opinion, the second recipe is the better of the two -- I guess the warm milk did it. Thanks, Joyce
