PIEROGIE CASSEROLE

1 box lasagne noodles
8 medium potatoes
1 stick butter or margarine
1-2 onions
salt, pepper and garlic powder
American cheese

Boil lasagne noodles according to directions. Cook and mash potatoes with milk to make mashed
potato consistency. In saute pan, sautee butter and onions. Add salt, pepper and garlic powder to
taste.

Spray casserole dish with non stick spray. Layer 1/2 noodles, then 1/2 potatoes, and cover with
slices of American cheese. Pour 3/4 butter mixture over cheese, Add rest of noodles, then
potatoes and then a little more butter mixture. Bake at 350 deg. for 1/2 hour.
