My mom has been making these pulled mints for as long as I can remember. If I might add, a marble slab is best when cold! It helps cool down the mixture as my mom always said so you can handle it better. And yes, it does require a lot of pulling. Another helper is essential when cutting these mints so they can seperate them while you cut. Also, wax paper does nicely when cutting them for they do not stick to the paper. Store in wax paper lined and covered "tins" for a few days so they can cream. Thank you for posting this recipe! I was afraid it was a "lost art".
