Brown Sugared Bacon
A sweet and savory coating creates especially crisp, flavorful bacon. Yummy! 1/3 cup firmly packed brown sugar 1 teaspoon ground allspice 1/2 pound (6 to 8 slices) bacon, cut in half Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Line 15x10x1-inch jelly-roll pan with kitchen parchment paper. Combine brown sugar and allspice in small bowl. Coat bacon slices with brown sugar mixture.
Place coated bacon onto prepared pan. Bake for 14 to 16 minutes or until crisp.
Place cooked bacon on clean parchment paper; let stand until slightly cooled (3 to 5 minutes). Serve warm or at room temperature.
TIP: This recipe can be made ahead. Refrigerate until serving time. Reheat bacon or serve at room temperature.
