Friendship Cake
Starter:
2 cups peach brandy
Place in a gallon glass jar. Add:
2 cups sugar 1 large can sliced peaches
Stir once a day for 10 days, with wooden spoon.
Add:
2 cups sugar 2 cans crushed pinapple
Stir once a day for 10 days.
Add:
2 cups sugar 2 large jars of marchanio cherries
Stir once a day for 7 days.
Add:
2 cups raisins
Stir once a day for 3 days.
Cake
2 boxes yellow cake mix (or cake mix of your choice)
Mix according to package directions. Drain fruit. Add to cake batter along with 2 cups pecans or walnuts. Spoon into sprayed baking pans of choice. Bake in a 350 degree oven until cake passes toothpick test. Depending on pans 30-60 min.
With remaining juice place in pint jars and seal. Keep one pint for next cake in refergator until ready to use again for starter. Share the remaining with friends and family along with a small cake.
