Hi just read your post ok here goes
Bake an ordinary white cake according to directions in 9 x 13 pan. Let cool a little. Make up two colours of jello, but just use 1 cup of boiling water for each. Don't add the second cup of cold water. While jello is still liquid, poke holes in the cake with a chopstick or something similar in size (about 3/4 inch apart). Pour the jello over the cake (if you use two colours of jello alternate where your pour them). Refrigerate cake until jello is set. When set, whip 2 cups of whipping cream, add 1 tsp. vannila and sugar to taste. Frost cake and serve immediately. Hope this is what you are looking for. Marli
