Easy Cheese Biscuits

These are the easiest cheese biscuits I've ever made and taste every bit as good as any I've had here in NC.

2 cups Bisquick
1 cup sour cream
milk
3/4 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

Stir together Bisquick and sour cream. Add enough milk to smooth mixture out to a kneading consistency (a little sticky and pliable.) Mix in the shredded cheese.

Pour out onto floured surface and knead a few times. Roll out to desired thickness (about 1/2-inch is good) and cut with round cutter or glass (1 1/2-inch is a good size.)

Place on a cookie sheet and bake at 450 degrees until lightly browned.

Proportions are approximate, because that is how we make the best biscuits here in NC.
