Onion Bread (1 servings) Source: Anne Lerner, "Breads You Wouldn't Believe"
1/2 c Grated onion 1 ts Salt 1 tb Dry yeast 1/2 c Warm water 2 1/2 c Unbleached white flour 1/4 c Vegetable oil
In a bowl, mix onion & salt. Add yeast dissolved in the warm water. Stir in flour & oil. Beat well. Spoon the dough into an oiled loaf tin & let the dough rise to the top of the tin. Preheat oven to 350F & bake for 1 hour.
Onion Bread (Regular Loaf)- Abm - Yield: 1 Loaf 3/4 c water 2 c white bread flour 1 1/2 tb dry milk 1 1/2 tb brown sugar 1 ts salt 1 tb butter 1/4 c onions, dried 1/2 tb onion paste 1/2 ts black pepper 1/2 ts poppy seeds 1 ts yeast, fast rise or machine or - 2 ts yeast, active dry
Select BAKE Cycle.
Onion Soup Bread Yield: 1 Servings Recipe By : Bread Machine Magic by Linda Rehberg & Lois Conway 1/4 c milk 1/4 c water 1 lg egg 1/2 c sour cream 3 c bread flour 1 tb butter or margarine 1 tb sugar 2 1/2 tb dry onion soup mix 1 1/2 ts yeast
Place all ingredients in bread pan & select Light crust.
