Tips: How to Prepare Grape Leaves

If you don't want to use canned or pickled grape leaves, you can use them fresh, just treat or process them the same as you would cabbage leaves, for stuffing. Wash or at least rinse them first before you do anything with them!

Put them in boiling water a few minutes to soften until they are plyable, drain and pat dry.

Claim is that 'table grape' leaves have less acidity than wine grapes so the sweeter the grape the more mellow the leaves, as a rule of thumb - of course.
