My 90 year old mother remembers her mother made a dessert for the Christmas dinner that she called "Food for the Gods", it had dates in it and could possibly be a Danish dessert as the dinner was the traditional goose and they had the rice with an almond in it as first course. Anyone have a recipe for it? Any ideas what it might be?
