This is a good recipe for a buffet or if you are asked to bring an appetizer - can be served room temperature or warm.

Antipasto Squares

2 pkgs. refrigerated Crescent Rolls
Slice thin from deli:

1/4 lb. boiled ham
1/4 lb. Provolone cheese
1/4 lb. Genoa salami
1/4 lb. Swiss cheese
1/4 lb. slicing pepperoni (large roll size)
1 large jar red roasted peppers, drained well and sliced into mid-size julienne strips
3 eggs, beaten with a little pepper
3 Tbsp. grated parmesan cheese

Open one of the pkg of crescent rolls, and spread out entire roll with fingers over bottom of 9x13 pan. Layer meat and cheese in the order as written. Top with peppers. Pour MOST of egg mixture over this layer (reserve some for brushing top). Sprinkle the parmesan cheese over evenly.

Top with second package of rolls that have been stretched out as much as possible over the meat/pepper/egg layer. Expect there to be some gaps or little holes - it'll fill in as it cooks. Brush with rest of egg mixture.

Cover with foil. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake 10 minutes longer or until set in center and brown on top. Let cool a few minutes, then cut into squares. Can Serve room temperature or warm.

This is really yummy and very pretty.

Hope someone tries this - Happy Holidays

June
