yes I cook my eggs like this when im on the run. I only know how to do them one way tho.. and it results in and egg "pattie" similar to that used in burgers.
1) break egg into cup and mix with fork, add seasoning as desired. 2) put plate over the top of cup and zap in microwave for 60 secs (seems to be enough in my microwave you may need to experiment with yours) too little and its undercooked, too much and it turns out like a rubber frisbee.
I have discovered if you dont break the egg yolk you end up with a huge explosion of egg all over your microwave which is very hard to wash off!.
I would imagine you would need to be wary of boiled eggs doing this if you over cook them. :o) hope that helps
