PEANUT BUTTER BREAKFAST SPREAD
3/4 cup chunky style peanut butter 2 tbsp. honey 1/2 cup finely chopped dried fruit (such as raisins, dates, apricots, figs, prunes, or apples)
Blend together peanut butter and honey; stir in dried fruit. Store at room temperature in a tightly covered container. To serve, spread on warm toast or muffin. Makes 1 1/2 cups spread.
Crunchy Peanut Butter and Oats Spread
2/3 cup old fashioned oats (uncooked) 1 1/4 cups smooth peanut butter 1/2 cup honey
1. Toast oats by putting them on a cookie sheet, and baking at 350 degrees for about 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally. 2. Mix together toasted oats, peanut butter and honey. 3. Excellent spread on toast, bagels, crackers and for peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.
