Hi! I have a recipe that I make all the time. It sounds like a weird combo, but let me tell ya, my family loves it!! It never stays around long, and it has been a big hit at craft shows.

Chocolate-Covered Popcorn

Pop a few bags of microwave popcorn, butter and salt flavors work best.

You can use either white melting chocolate from a candy making store, or white chocolate chips. (For Halloween, get the yellow, orange and black melts for effect.)

Melt chocolate (different colors separately) in microwave (16oz. at 60 sec.) stir, and reheat if necessary by 20 second increments, until smooth.

Put popped corn in either a gallon size zip-lock bags. Pour melted chocolate into bag and shake. If you want the multi-color, just add one color at a time and shake well. They will splatter and swirl.

Spread the coated popcorn onto a wax paper covered cookie sheet. You can let air dry, which takes longer, or I put it in the refrigerator until hardened.

Once hard, break apart in small clumps and put in baggies. I usually add some color ribbons to fasten bags.

Make sure you sample yourself. You would not believe haw great the white chocolate-popcorn combo is. You can use milk or dark chocolate, but I don't think it tastes as good, Plus you can use the Halloween colors with the white.

Happy Halloween!!!
