STRAWBERRY RIBBON DISH 2 (10 oz.) pkgs. frozen strawberries, thawed 2 (6 oz.) pkgs. strawberry jello 1 can (1 lb. 4 oz.) crushed pineapple, drained 3 medium bananas, mashed 1 cup walnuts, chopped 1 pint sour cream Dissolve jello in boiling water (follow package instructions) in a large bowl. Add strawberries and juice, pineapple, bananas and nuts. Pour half of strawberry mixture into a 12x8x2" dish and refrigerate until nearly set. Spread sour cream evenly over jello, refrigerate for half an hour, then gently spoon rest of strawberry mixture on top. Refrigerate until set. Serves about 12. . . . This is a recipe my Mother used to make often for holiday gatherings. The sour cream creates a thin white ribbon through the center of the gelatin. I hope this is what you were looking for!
