PINEAPPLE AND CHERRY SALAD
1 (3 oz.) pkg. cherry jello 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened 1/4 cup salad dressing (like Miracle Whip) 1/4 cup maraschino cherry juice 2 Tablespoons powdered sugar 1 small can crushed pineapple 1/4 cup maraschino cherries, chopped 1 cup heavy cream, whipped
Dissolve jello in hot water as directed on package and let cool.
Add salad dressing to cream cheese mixing until smooth and well blended.
Add cherry juice, sugar and jello. Mix well. Chill until slightly thickened.
Add fruit. Fold in whipped cream.
Pour into a 1 1/2 quart ring mold and chill until firm.
