Hi! I was wondering if anyone could help me. I just finished making caramel apples for the first time and it was a disaster. I followed a recipe on the back of a bag of caramels which included melting the caramel with 2 and a half TB of evaporated milk. The caramel just slid completely down the apple and never really "hardened." Does anyone know why my caramel did not stick on the apple? What can i do next time that will work? Thanks in advance for your help. it will be greatly appreciated.
