Here's a recipe for 7-up pound cake that's totally simple and absolutely delicious that I'd like to contribute.
7 UP POUND CAKE
3 cups flour (sifted)* 3/4 cup (3 sticks) sweet cream butter (softened) 3 cups sugar 5 eggs 2/3 cup 7-up 1 oz lemon flavoring 1 Tbsp concentrated lemon juice *This is optional. I do it because I like the lemony flavor.
Cream butter and sugar together. Add eggs, 1emon flavoring and 7-up beating til well blended. Beat in flour 1 cup at a time. Pour batter into a bundt pan and bake for 1 and 1/2 hours in a 325 degree oven.
* Do not use self-rising flour
