CAKE MIX CINNAMON ROLLS
1 box yellow cake mix (do not use pudding mixes) 2 pkg. dry yeast 1 tsp. salt 2 1/2 cups lukewarm water 1 tsp. vanilla 5 cups flour 1 stick (1/2 cup) butter, melted sugar cinnamon raisins (optional)
Dissolve dry cake mix, yeast and salt in lukewarm water.
Add vanilla and mix in the flour. Allow to rise 1 hour.
Punch down, cut in half. Roll out in rectangular shape, brush with melted butter, sprinkle with sugar, cinnamon and raisins. Roll up and slice, 3/4-inch thick. Let rise 45 minutes.
Bake in preheated 350 degrees F oven for 15 to 20 minutes.
While warm, drizzle with a powdered sugar glaze.
