just wanted to say that my mom used to make the fudge, she used to work at a place in West Virginia, and it was the best ever. It was made the old way. But she never let it cool down before she added the vanilla or the peanut butter or chocolate. Sugar, canned evaporated milk, corn syrup, was cooked together, till it was soft ball stage then taken off of the heat and the vanilla and peanut butter or chocolate was added..
