Here is the toll house pie recipe. If you want to make bars, just make the cookie recipe, put it in a pan of suitable size, and adjust the cooking time.......

TOLL HOUSE PIE
2 EGGS
1/2 CUP FLOUR
1/2 CUP SUGAR
1/2 CUP PACKED BROWN SUGAR
1 CUP UNSWEETENED BUTTER, MELTED & COOLED
1 6 oz PKG SEMI-SWEET CHOC CHIPS
1 CUP CHOPPED WALNUTS OR PECANS
1 9-in UNBAKED PIE SHELL
Preheat oven to 325
In lg bowl, beat eggs until foamy. Add flour & sugars; beat until well blended. Blend in butter. Stir in
choc chips and nuts. Pour into pie shell. Bake 1 hour. Serve warm.
