I have been looking for a rice pudding recipe. The Cafe Greco in my neighbourhood in Mlebourne makes the best that I have ever tasted. Their pastry chef makes the rice pudding in individual cups and I believe it is a baked dessert. There is no raisin or any other "exotic" ingredients in it. It is just very simply and delicious. This rice pudding isn't too sweet (unlike most of the Greek dessert) so we don't feel so gulty eating it after a meal. I have tried many recipes but none came out the same or even close... If anyone out there has a good & TRIED recipe, especially a Greek or Italian version, I would really like to have it. Maybe a grandmother's 50-year-old recipe from Greece? Thanks. (My husband will come back this Friday and I will like to make it for him as a surprise.) He just loves it.
