1 German Chocolate Cake mix 1 cup choped pecans 1 cup coconut 1 8 oz pkg cream cheese 1 stick of margarine 2 cups powdered sugar
Heat oven to 350 degrees Mix cake mix according to package directions
Line bottom only of 9 x 13 cake pan with wax paper (air bake pans are not recommended for this cake) sprinkle with pecans and coconut
meanwhile place margarine and cream cheese in microwave safe bowl and microwave on high until marg. is melted. With mixer slowly add powdered sugar until smooth.
Pour cake batter over pecan and coconuts Drizzle cream cheese mixture over the top of cake mix.
Bake for 45 to 50 minutes. Let cool slightly and invert entire cake. Slowly remove wax paper.
I try to make this at least the day before because it seems to draw extra moisture from the cream cheese and it will just melt in you mouth.
