Hi Judi;
Thank you for trying out my Aunt Tourmalines recipe. I just love it when people try and love this recipe. It let's a little of my past live on.

Why are blueberries called "Blue"? Why are so many wildflowers called "blue", when actually a shade of purple? Virginia Blue Bells, Texas Bluebonnets, Blue Asters... The only reason I can say on this is...The color blue is very rare in the plant kingdom. I sappose that whenever anything comes even close to that color, that some botanist or plant fancier labels it so. Indeed, when you think about it, blue is kind of a rare thing in flowers.

Well, Judi, that's the best explanation I can give you on this one! Hope it satisfies your curiosity.

Take care.
Peace To All On TKL,
David In Virginia
