David--Thank Beulah for her delicious and easy to make recipe. I made it with fresh blueberries. It was completely gone just when the last dish was going in the dishwasher.

Have you ever thought of writing a book on Heirloom Recipes ? Your recipes are wonderful and I love to read your stories. I feel as though heirloom recipes are going to become more and more popular. People want to get back to their roots; hence the popularity of looking up and researching your family tree.
It is fun to bake a recipe with such a wonderful history. I felt as though Beulah was in the kitchen with me.
