3/4 lb stew meat cubes Cook about 30 min in just enough water to cover
approx. 3 or 4 med. potatoes, peeled & cut into bite size chunks 1 med. carrot peeled & thinly sliced Cover with water & Bring to a boil & reduce to med. until veggies are barely tender
In crockpot combine potatoes, carrots, meat (may want to cut into smaller pieces) Add 1 can whole kernal corn (drained) or 1/2 can corn and 1/2 can small green peas. Add: 1 med bottle V-8 juice 1 can beef broth salt & pepper to taste 1 teasp. worchestershire sauce
Cook on low 5-6 hrs or high 3-4 hrs until flavors are blended and potatoes are tender not soft.
Sometimes I add some cooked elbow maccaroni before serving. Experiment with the seasonings you like best. If you like less tomato taste & more beef add another can of beef broth.
Think I'll make some this week-end before heading to the football game!
