Recipe(tried): EASY BISQUITS (BEST EVER)

Misc.

Deanne, Here is the easiest bisquit recipe that I have ever used, (only 3 ingredients). A friend of mine, that moved to Nebraska gave it to me more than 20 years ago. I have been using it ever since. Even my Mom (68)loves them. I usually fix them everytime they visit, as she loves bisquits and gravy. Memories from her childhood. She still sprinkles a little sugar on top of her gravy. Hope you enjoy them as much as my family has over the years.

EASY BISQUITS

4 CUPS SELF-RISING FLOUR
2/3 CUP OIL
1 1/2 CUPS MILK

PREHEAT OVEN TO 400*

*MEASURE FLOUR INTO BOWL
*MAKE HOLE IN CENTER OF FLOUR
*POUR OIL AND MILK IN HOLE
*STIR WITH SPOON UNTIL EVENLY MIXED
*POUR OUT ON CABINET
*PAT OUT DOUGH TO APPROXIMATE PAN SIZE (9 X 13)
*POUR A LITTLE OIL IN PAN TO COAT BOTTOM OF PAN
*CUT SHAPES WITH CUTTER (SHAPES CAN BE ROUGH)
*PUT BISQUITS IN PAN--COATING ONE SIDE (WITH OIL IN PAN)THEN TURN OVER-DRY
SIDE DOWN

BAKE @ 400* FOR 20-25 MIN (DEPENDING ON YOUR OVEN)

THIS RECIPE MAKES 20-22 BISQUITS AND CAN BE CUT IN HALF TO MAKE 10-12

ENJOY!
