Hi Gayle, glad you got those cherries pitted! Sounds as though you need a recipe asap. Unfortunately, fresh tart cherries aren't available to many of us, so there aren't many recipes anymore. Try typing Fresh Cherry Pie into the search here at TKL and there are a few recipes. There was also a recipe to make pie filling to freeze. That would be helpful, I think. Also I typed Fresh Cherry Pie into a net search and got some recipes. Good Luck.
