There IS a recipe for using Oatmeal in your meatloaf on the package of Quaker oatmeal. Here is what I do! To the hamburg (probably about 2 to 3 lbs) I add about a cup or 2 of oatmeal, an egg or 2, about 1/2 cup of catsup and about 1/4 to 1/2 cup of water. Add a little salt and pepper and a little parsley and mix by hand. You pat it into a pan and bake at about 325 to 350 degrees until it looks about done around the edges! You can then pull it out and pour spaghetti sauce or more catsup over the top of the meatloaf. Then I take individually wraped cheese slices and unwrap them!!! Then I fold them in half to make triangles and lay them over the top of the meatloaf on the sauce. I return it to the oven to melt the cheese and to start to brown the cheese. It is a good meatloaf that my husband and I and the 6 kids enjoy! Hope you find what you are looking for! Six
