ISO: Recipes for Something Called a Vinegar Fizz??

Misc.
My 72-year-old mother and two of her cousins were trying to remember how they used to make a drink called a "vinegar fizz" when they were growing up.

They can't remember any of the ingredients except vinegar and--probably--sugar, but I suspect baking soda must have been one of them.

Does anyone know how to make this? My Web search was pretty inconclusive. Thanks!
