I've gotten tons of good comments on my apple butter when I use this recipe:
BAKED APPLE BUTTER
For each cup of applesauce add:
1 Cup Sugar
1/8 tsp. Cinnamon
1/16 tsp. Cloves
Bake 3 to 4 hours at 300 F stirring every 1/2 hour. I make a batch using 12
cups of applesauce and end up with 7 pint jars. I bake it in my big roaster.
