Sour Cream Pound Cake
1/2 lb. butter or margarine, softened 6 eggs 1 cup sour cream 3 cups plain flour, sifted 2 1/2 cups sugar 2 tsp. vanilla 1/4 tsp. soda
Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each egg. Add vanilla, sour cream and then flour.
Place waxed paper in bottom of Bundt or tube pan; grease and flour.
Bake at 300 degrees for 90 minutes. Let stand for 15 minutes then serve.

How about a 6 egg pound cake? I hope it will do until you find your Mom's recipe.
