I remember a crispy pecan cookie from my childhood Christmases and have never found the recipe. My mom thought it was in her old cookbook, but she gave it to me and there's nothing like it in there. I haven't found it posted in any of the cookie chat recipes here or under pecan cookies.

The cookies had pecans in them but no fruit, no chocolate, no cereal, etc. They weren't frosted and didn't have sprinkles on them. They were a plain cookie but very tasty. If anyone has a similar recipe, I'd sure appreciate it.
