Here it is and I was just reading recently that these old Betty Crocker Cookbooks are becoming quite the collector's item. So if anyone has one, hold on to it. I have one even older than this 1961 edition but it didn't have this recipe.

Tomato-Green Bean Casserole

4 Strips bacon
1 (16 ounce) can stewed tomatoes with green pepper and onions
1 package (9 ounce) frozen green beans, cooked and drained, or 1 can (16 ounces) green beans -- drained
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 dash pepper
1 dash Cayenne pepper
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
1 cup buttered bread crumbs

Heat oven to 350 degrees.

Fry bacon. Drain off excess fat. Break bacon into pieces.

Add tomates; simmer a few minutes.

Add beans, seasonings, and mayonnaise. Place in greased 8-inch round baking dish. Cover with buttered crumbs.

Bake about 15 minutes. (This can be prepared ahead and baked just before serving.)
