JELLO POUND CAKE
1 pkg. yellow cake mix 1 sm. pkg. Jello (flavor desired) 3/4 cup water 1/2 cup salad oil 4 medium eggs
Stir dry Jello and cake mix together. Add water and oil and blend. Add eggs and beat according to cake mix package. Pour into greased and floured 10-inch tube pan. Bake 350 degrees for time on cake package. Cool 25 minutes before removing from pan.
JELLO CAKE Yield: 24 servings 1 pkg strawberry Jello 1 pkg cake mix-white TOPPING: 1 envelope Dream Whip mix 1 small package instant vanilla pudding mix 1 1/2 cups cold milk 1 tsp vanilla Dissolve jello in 3/4 cup boiling water. Add 1/2 cup cold water and set aside at room temperature. Mix and bake cake as directed in 13x9-inch pan. Cool 20-25 minutes.
Poke holes in cake with end of wooden spoon, about 1 1/2-inches apart. With cup, slowly pour jello mixture into holes. Refrigerate cake and prepare topping. In chilled bowl, blend whipped topping mix, pudding, cold milk and vanilla until stiff, 3-8 minutes. Immediately frost cake. Store in frig and serve chilled.
