I asked my mom but she did not remember a white garlic soup served at Christmas time. Were there any other ingredients you remember?

Are you sure its Christmas time? Are you sure its Ukrainian? There are lots of Ukrainian soups that are garlicky but were not served at Christmas time. I'm wondering if its a regional Ukrainain soup and not that well known.
