CINNAMON ROCK CANDY
3 3/4 cups sugar 1 1/2 cups light corn syrup 1 cup water 1 tsp. cinnamon flavoring Red food coloring Powdered sugar
Mix sugar, corn syrup, and water together in a large saucepan. Stir over medium heat until sugar dissolves. Boil, without stirring, until temperature reaches 310 degrees F or until drops of syrup form hard brittle threads in cold water. Remove from heat.
After boiling has ceased, stir in flavoring and coloring.
Pour onto lightly greased cookie sheet. Cool; break into pieces.
Note: This recipe didn't mention how to use the powdered sugar.

1 1/2 cups sugar 1 cup water 1 cup light Karo corn syrup red food coloring 1 to 2 capfuls cinnamon oil powdered sugar
Line a cookie sheet with foil. Sprinkle on a coating of powdered sugar; set aside.
Mix sugar, water, and corn syrup together. Add red coloring, as desired.
Bring to a boil; cook it to 300 degrees F on candy thermometer.
Take from heat. Add 1 1/2 to 2 caps of cinnamon oil, stir for a few seconds. Pour out on prepared cookie sheet.
Let it cool, crack into pieces.
