I was playing with blackberries today and this is a MUST TRY. I used the same recipe, only left berries whole (be gentle). Poured half the batter in the pan, then spread blackberry jam over this and rest of batter on top. After it baked and while still warm, spread jam on top (it was like a light glaze). This was so good, we tore up a loaf in one day. Try this. I'm making more today to freeze, will let you know how that works out. Should do fine.
