Beer Bread (savory, not sweet-good with soups)
Serves 4 to 6

3 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 c. melted butter
12 oz. bottle room temp Redhook Pale Ale

Stir together dry ingredients. Pour beer over all and stir together into a sticky mass.

Spray Baker's veg. spray on an 8"x8" square pan, or grease by hand with butter. Scrape batter into pan with a rubber spatula that's been dipped in water. Dip spat in water again, and use to spread and pull the sticky batter to edges of pan. Top surface will have a shaggy appearance.

Pour warm melted butter over dough, and bake at 400 degrees for about 40 minutes. Serve warm.
