I found this recipe in my McCalls Home Baked Breads books. The dough was mixed in my bread machine on the dough cycle with good results.
l. Make filling: In small bowl, mix butter brown sugar and egg yolk. Stir in milk vanilla and lemon extracts; blend in pecans.
2. Make dough in bread machine. Lightly grease 9x5x3 loaf pan.
3. Roll Basic Sweet Dough into a 12x9" rectangle. Brush with l tablespoon butter. Spread with pecan filling.
4. Cut acrosswise into 3 strips, 4 inche4s wide. Roll each, from long side.
5. Place rolls, seam side down, side by side in prepared loaf pan. Brush with remaining melted butter. Cover with towel and let rise until double in bulk about one hour.
6. Preheat oven to 350. Sprinkle loaf with granulated sugar and cinnamon, mixed. Cover with pecans.
7. Bake loaf 35 mins. or until golden brown and sounds hollow when rapped with knuckle. Remove from pan at once. Let cool completely on rack. Sprinkle with confectioners' sugar or icing. Makes one loaf.
Basic Sweet Dough l/4 cup milk l/4 cup sugar l/2 tsp. salt 3 tablespoons butter or margarine l/4 cup warm water (105 to 115F) l pkg. active dry yeast l egg, beaten 2 l/4 cups bread flour
Add all this to bread machine on dough setting.
Filling: 4 tsps. soft butter or margarine l/3 cup brown sugar l egg yolk 4 tsps. milk 2 drops vanilla extract 2 drops lemon extract l cup pecans, ground

Topping l tablespoon granulated sugar dash cinnamon 2 tablespoons chopped pecans confectioners' sugar
or
Icing l/2 cup confectioners' sugar l tablespoon milk 2 or 3 drops vanilla extract
