BROWNIES
3 ounces unsweetened baking chocolate 1/4 cup WESSONŽ Vegetable Oil 2 eggs 1 cup sugar 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/2 cup all-purpose flour Optional [4 oz max]: nuts, chopped [walnuts, almonds, pecans] mini choc chips [candy-coated, plain, flavoured] candy bar, chopped
Makes 20 brownies Heat chocolate in microwave oven until chocolate is completely melted. Stir in oil and set aside to cool.
In mixing bowl, beat eggs until foamy. Whisk in sugar, then add vanilla and salt. Stir in chocolate mixture then mix in flour until all ingredients are moistened. Lightly add optional ingredients.
Pour batter into 9-inch greased baking pan and bake at 350°F for 25 to 30 minutes or until edges begin to pull away from sides of pan.
Cool before cutting. Frost, sprinkle with powdered sugar, or serve with cream or ice cream.
