ISO: Wedding cake/cupcakes
Misc. I am planning to only do a few things for my wedding and making a special cake is one of them. The wedding isn't until later this year but I would like to start experimenting with recipes now and choose the one I like best. My plan is to make a small 2-layer cake to have for the cake cutting during the reception which will be served to the wedding party and then have cupcakes for the rest of the guests.
I am searching for a recipe for cupcakes that is moist and flavorfull. I am not opposed to using a mix and I would also like two different flavors, chocolate and weither white of yellow cake. Any suggestions? I already did a search and only found a couple of ideas. My wedding color is pink and flowers/polka dots are the theme (this week anyway - it changes pretty often). I am also looking for a creative way to display the cupcakes (about 150). Thanks a bunch for any ideas or suggestions. You always come through for me on this website!
