Vanilla Brownies

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

1/2 C Butter
2 C White chocolate chips
1 1/4 C Flour
3/4 C Sugar
1/2 C Chopped nuts
1 Tsp Vanilla
1/4 Ts Salt
3 Eggs
-----VANILLA GLAZE-----
1 1/2 C Powdered sugar
3 Tb Butter, softened
1/2 Ts Vanilla
1 Tb Milk

Brownies: Heat oven to 350F. Grease and flour rectangular
pan, 13x9x2". Heat butter and chips in heavy 2 quart saucepan
over low heat, stirring constantly, just until melted. Mixture may
appear curdled. Remove from heat; cool. Stir in remaining
ingredients except Vanilla Glaze. Spread in pan.
Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean; cool completely. Spread with Vanilla Glaze. Cut into 2 x 1 1/2" bars.
Glaze: Mix all ingredients until smooth and spreading
consistency.
